The plan is to resurface Sherman Ave from the rail road tracks (south of the Esquire Club) north to to Windom Way (Near Ryan Funeral Home). The general consensus is the project will take 4-5 months with an anticipated end date of October 15.

Also present at the listening session were several city engineers and other staff who explained in great detail the scope of the project, lane closures and closed roads. All city staff present expressed great concern for business owners and the inconvenience this will cause. All attempts will be make to keep one access driveway open to businesses at all times.

The city alder and engineers expressed great willingness to meet with any business owners to discuss concerns and discuss plans. To get their contact info - please email this blog at news@madisonnba.com
